Once There Was A Snowman

Today is April 3rd. It snowed about 10 inches overnight, and on Conference Sunday, in between sessions, we went out and built a gigantic snowman!

It was so heavy that Kent, Nate and Cole had to make a ramp to get the 2nd layer up.

Liza climbed up on a ladder to make the face. It measured 8 feet, 6 inches tall!!

The neighborhood girls all came over to play with Nate.

Summer Fun in Mexico

In June 2010, our family spent the week in Cancun for Nate's "Graduation Trip". We had so much fun playing on the beach, enjoying the crystal blue water, eating chips and guac and playing scum every night. Kent was the designated scum and kept his comfy seat there the whole trip. Leena entertained a whole new country of people!

It's official, Eliza is a teenager. Eliza is such a joy to have in our family. She is truly, as her dad likes to say, "The rose among the thorns." 18 Years old today! Wow it has been a wild ride. It has been a very nostalgic week thinking over how fast these past 18 years have gone. We love you Nate, you are such a fun and important member of our family. Nate has worked so hard in school this year, taking a full load to get an academic scholarship, playing football & never missing a practice or game, and taking on the Surgical Technician program. He is always up to teaching our family a new card game and playing with Leena and Leroy! He fits in plenty of time to be with his friends! Happy Birthday!!!

On December 25, we added a new member to our family. Santa brought Nate the cutest little Maltipoo you have ever seen! Nate named him Leroy. He is 1 pound 6 ounces.
